Maple Canyon
Maple Canyon is one of Utah’s most unique climbing areas. Climbers travel from all over the world to climb this riveting canyon.
Maple Canyon is one of the only canyons made of conglomerate rock. When Maple Canyon was formed over 70 million years ago by the price river it eroded the rock into steep over hanging cliffs, arches and narrow slots so close you can touch both walls at the same time.
Maple Canyon offers 700 bolted routes and is still growing! It has climbs ranging from 5.0 to 5.14, including side walking and upside down routes. Many of the routes are right off the road or tucked just a few yards back. This means approach times and hiking can be little to none. With tall east and west facing walls its easy to find shade or sun depending on the season and what you desire.
